Initiatives
Our initiatives are aimed at building a modern and strong country, where every citizen has equal access to knowledge, opportunities and resources. We invest in education, science and sports, because they form the foundation of Ukraine's future. Each initiative of the Foundation combines state priorities with the needs of civil society. We support talented youth, promote international educational and scientific programs, help communities implement projects that change people's lives for the better. Our goal is to create conditions under which Ukraine will become an example of a successful, open and responsible European state.
The Global Coalition for Ukrainian Studies (GCUS) is an international initiative that unites the efforts of higher education institutions, research centers, diplomatic and cultural institutions to support and develop Ukrainian studies around the world.
The goal of the Coalition is to ensure a sustainable presence and strengthening of Ukrainian studies programs in universities around the world, to expand access to reliable knowledge about Ukraine, its culture, language, history, as well as about the Crimean Tatars and other indigenous peoples of Ukraine.

Leaders of University Transformation for Ukraine’s Reinvention (LUTUR) is a large-scale professional development program for Ukrainian universities, implemented in partnership with the British Council Ukraine, the Ministry of Education and Science of Ukraine, and the Foundation of the President of Ukraine for the Support of Education, Science and Sports. The program ran from October 2023 to March 2024 and was the first offline project of the British Council in Ukraine since the full-scale invasion.
